VAOVA marks its tenth anniversary in 2023. Founded in 2013, the Colombian DMC has built an in-house operation across Bogotá, Medellín and Cartagena, designing and delivering incentive travel, meetings, corporate events, university treks and private journeys for international clients.
Over the decade, VAOVA developed its signature Happenings methodology — a way of designing the artistic and emotional peaks of a travel program from scratch — and had been recognized with two ProColombia National Tourism Awards at the time (2020 and 2021). VAOVA later added a third ProColombia recognition in 2025.
The next chapter focuses on consolidating Colombia's position as a credible, mature incentive and MICE destination for international buyers and on deepening VAOVA's role as the country's reference DMC for corporate audiences.
