VAOVA, Colombia's award-winning Destination Management Company, has been awarded the 2026 SITE Crystal Award for Excellence in Incentive Travel: Latin America & Caribbean. The recognition was announced at the Crystal Awards Gala on February 13, 2026, at Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi, during SITE Global Conference 2026.
The winning program, 'A Tale Woven Between Cultures', was a multi-night incentive program designed and operated by VAOVA for an international corporate client. It combined Bogotá's urban culture, Colombian artistic identity and a series of custom Happenings — VAOVA's signature methodology for designing the emotional peaks of an incentive program.
The SITE Crystal Awards have honored excellence in incentive travel since 1977 and are widely considered the global incentive industry's highest distinction. The 2026 edition recognized 21 finalists across multiple categories. Other finalists in the Latin America & Caribbean category included Ladidadi Events & Incentives and Terramar, a DMC Network company.
The award reinforces Colombia's emergence as a credible Latin American incentive destination and confirms VAOVA's role in positioning the country for international corporate audiences.
